'Knee him up the...' - Nigel Pearson tells his Bristol City defenders how to stop Troy Deeney
Bristol City travel to St Andrew's this weekend determined to offer a far better account of themselves than what they delivered against Birmingham City in 2021

Preview: Birmingham City vs. Bristol City - prediction, team news, lineups
Birmingham City host Bristol City at St Andrew's in the Championship on Saturday, with both teams currently sitting in the bottom half of the table.
The Blues had their four game unbeaten run ended by Middlesbrough in midweek, while the visitors drew at home to bottom-of-the-table Coventry City.

We say: Birmingham City 1-1 Bristol City
With little splitting the two sides, we see this one finishing as a draw. Bristol City are a threat going forward and will have opportunities, but they have shown defensive frailties and are yet to keep a clean sheet on the road. As such, Birmingham should be good enough to get a point.
    Bristol City possible starting lineup:
Bentley; Vyner, Williams, Atkinson; Sykes, Massengo, King, Dasilva, Weimann; Wells, Conway

In Minehead this weekend for a STEN weekend (Stag and Hen - joint session)
Keeping a close eye on the results between the stupid drinking games that the youngsters are insisting on playing……

    20 mins in..
we can’t find our rhythm, 2nd to the ball,
Struggling to get out of our own half without making mistakes.. so far 1-0 down and really poor.

only 1 shot on target between the sides in the opening 30 mins tells its own story. Pressure will crank up on Nige if we lose and have only 1 point from 15.

Those games we enjoyed with high pressing, being on the front foot etc are long gone..
We have been bloody dreadful. Suicide passing, creation is of zero quality..
I might go and sweep some leaves in a minute, has to be more entertaining than this rubbish..

Defence looks well dodgy-need to get Klose on the pitch straight away-Or put Vyner in the middle and put Tanner in Vyners place.
