....I´ve spent 14 Euros so far trying to keep up with transfer deadline day. As far as I can make out, since I´ve been out here we´ve signed Traore, Puncheon, Ferdinand and SWP, and missed out on Dann, Ridgewell, Bellamy, Crouch and any number of loan signings. BUT, and it´s a huge BUT, I´m over the moon with what we´ve got in! A month ago I still (perhaps naively) gave us a chance of staying up with what we had, but I had major concerns about the back four. Now, with Young, Ferdinand and Traore, we have a hatful of experience and a trio with a point to prove. Add to that the attacking talent of Bothroyd, Campbell, Taarabt, Barton and the hugely-under-rated Wright Phillips and I can´t feel overly sad at missing out on Bellamy, Crouch and co. We would have ripped our own arms off a month ago for the squad we have now, so anyone monaing needs to take a quick reality check.......please. After all, it could be worse, you could be on holiday with the in-laws.....
