I have just seen someone say 'dirty leeds brown trying to get him sent off'. Now I am in no way Brown's biggest fan, in fact I don't like him and never wanted him to play for Leeds again before the start of the season, but Leeds players have been sent off this season for far less than the challenge on brown, and opposing players have done all sorts to get Leeds players sent off, including dropping to the ground at the slightest touch, and dropping for penalities at the slightest touch, think notts forest in december. There is a real hypocrisy and arrogant attitude in the media towards Leeds, judging by the articles in the papers like Guardian, they must ahve seriously expected Leeds to just lie down and allow Watford to win! How would that have been fair on Hull? Would any team lie down for Leeds in such a position? No chance.
To say Poleon's push was an intentional attempt to injure the goalkeeper is frankly beyond deluded, those pushes happen ALL OVER THE PITCH, and shows this bizarre bias towards Leeds, it seems Leeds players cannot make the slightest of challenge without people assuming it is a dirty attempt. I have just watched the football league show and they did not even show or mention the elbow on Morrison in the opening minutes. Now I don't rate this Leeds squad at all, and clearly needs massive changes in summer, it has little pace which is why they cant move up the pitch, but they could only do their best today with what they had, and they did that to beat a very good Watford side.

I was quite impressed with the BBC actually. Made no mention of there being any controversy around Poleons push and claridge was spot on saying deeneys challenge deserved a booking despite not making a great deal of contact. If you look closely though he clips Brown's ankle as he goes through, at those kind of speeds its no wonder Brown went flying. And it would have been painful too

<laugh> I've never heard "those kind of speeds" and "Brown" in the same sentence before

We're all baised and think different things depending on the situation.

Ofcourse our man deserved to be sent off and you guy probably did push Anya but doubt he meant to cause any harm.
