not sure how I feel about this one. My initial reaction was WTF, a whole month. But then I'm thinking let him play, do him good, regular football etc. Why play these tournaments during the season. Is it because the American (north & south) have the month off? Please excuse my ignorance.
Different parts of the world start and finish their seasons at different times, hence the occasional player from America turning up on loan in England during the close season of January and February.
This is a good thing I think, with Tunnicliffe back it means we haven't lost a body, Emerson will go play a month of competitive football and then come back (hopefully) in good form.
