Martin and Smith also started... Drury didn't Not disputing that Hyam made an important contribution, just pointing out there a far more different factors. What do people think of a Hyam Luongo Midfeild pair? Where would that leave Drury and, i suppose more significantly, Stevenson?
I actually think Drury will be the player who plays most in that midfield. I think Jewells preferred partnership would be Drury and Luongo. But Drury can also play in the Martin position or even on the wings. I think Drury may well be our player of the season next year, but we'll see apparently this Luongo looks top class. I haven't seen much of Stevenson but so far he seems to have been pretty average!! For me although I didn't go, perhaps I'm making him a bit of a scapegoat here but Delaney not playing is a massive factor. Although it did sound like Martin made a big difference yesterday.
as much as I rate Hyam Im pretty sure he also playing in at least one of our humiliating defeats that everyone was moaning about last week
