Will definitely mean we will need one or two centre mids now

Agreed stretchyboy. Unfortunately, according to a recent press conference, Mick said we're only looking to add one more player! Hopefully that player will be a centre-midfielder, where we lack goals and creativity, or a right-back, where we lack a natural player. If David McGoldrick or Daryl Murphy leave (God forbid they both go this summer), then surely a centre-forward will be required too.

I must admit I'm concerned about the lack of additions in key areas this summer. I know there are still several weeks left until the transfer window closes, but I was hopeful that with the Mings business tied up relatively early, the club would have been well-poised to make signings in key areas. Most of us have been clamouring for key areas to be addressed since the season wrapped up two months ago, unfortunately I believe we're dragging our heels on this front.

EDIT: In response to the Hyam injury, it's unfortunate for the lad and I wish him a speedy recovery. Maybe not first-team material on his recent form, when fit, but he's a useful squad member.

Atm, Skuse and bru look first choice, with probably the kid from arsenal and tabb as back up. looking at that, teams will steam roller us trough the middle. Definitely need a ball winner.

I'd say Skuse and Bishop will be first choice....we have already brought in four players so as long as we don't lose anyone else one more new face is about right...and I can see us bringing a replacement/competition for Skuse.

Bru / Bishop / Skuse / Tabb / McDonnell. We don't need too many more !?

I feel we still lack a player who can control the tempo of the game and put his foot on the ball. We were very one paced last season and there were moments where we needed to play a bit of keep ball to take the sting out of the game and we had noone to do that!!

Here's hoping Bishop takes another giant leap forwards this year.

    Yeah, but not cheaply.
We're doing a bit of a Southampton at the minute and it will pay dividends eventually.
If the quota for homegrown players is increased in the premier league, which they are talking about doing, then players like Bishop will be worth even more soon.
