There will be blood, when the board is going to evaluate the season. They do evaluate?

What happened to all the Monk-manager-fanboys? Clearly he hasn't got the punch and experience to be manager of a PL club...

And maybe some members of the board should step down too, to give space for professional management. Passion alone isn't enough, it's the Premier League...

Our squad has the $h!ts lads, that's why we only drew the match <whistle>

Can understand the Ash sub for Amat now however cannot understand Lita for Bony instead of Emnes, unless he was suffering from it too.

As far as we know he's only manager until the end of the season and yes, some of his decision making seems bizarre but let's judge him then. You can't say Huw Jenkins proved wrong at this moment. Maybe at the end of the season or maybe when the facts about the sacking come out. He's doing ok for me, all things considered, certainly good enough to keep us up.

It's time for this Laudrup/Monk nonsense to end now. I was happy with Monk replacing Laudrup (but not in the way it would appear to have been done) but that doesn't mean I'm a Monk fan-boy. That's ridiculous. Monk will be judged just like any other manager.

Yes but why swop a player who hasn't played for us prior to the Everton game fro 2 years because a he's not good enough b can't be arsed ? instead of Emnes who at least puts a shift in or Ngog who I know wasn't named but has played in the PL and imo should have been in the squad in front of Lita .

Maybe Monk went in and said something along the lines of 'fresh start for everybody'. Maybe Lita impressed during training? Maybe Monk has simply lost the plot. Who knows?
for every odd choice like Lita there is a positive (did anyone realise what JDG was capable of before Monk?)

Agree Steve, JDG has been playing really well the past month, as for N'Gog leaving him out was strange, unless he was I'll too. Lita should be payed off the rest of his contract and kicked out along with Vasquez in the summer to free up room for a couple of decent strikers.

Well he did do this for a bit last season! :)

If I did I wouldn't have gone for Lita or Schecter!

I also saw good things with JdG - quite a bit of the dung flung at him on here was bandwagon stuff.

JDG always had it in him going forward, me and Norway discussed it enough times, I just never liked him in the CM role, as he never stuck to his task in the way that I thought he should with tracking back. Always said he was an AM, just with the players we have, its tough for him to get into that role.

Given the right time , Monk will be a a good manager . This wasn't the time and it may have repercussions on his managerial career in the future .Was never a Monk hiring issue as much as it was a Laudrup firing issue . But he is our manager and needs our support . The lineup yesterday was a lineup that Laudrup would use and as for subs , probably the players that least had the bug were the players that were subbed on

yes but this isn't the right time ,and time is something we haven't got right now , points were always going to be hard to get and now we seem to be making it doubly so .A two week break for some ( excluding our international players <steam> )to recharge everyones batteries and hopefully get the majority back fit for the final run in , but we're without Chico for 3 games and he was settling down and letting his football do the talking recently then he takes one for the team because of indecision and a lack of urgency has cost us one important player .If we don't get a result v WBA then more questions regarding our ability to stay up .

Isn't it only a 2 game ban as it was not a bad challenge, thought yellow/red was 1 match, straight red on a professional foul was 2 games, and red card for nasty incidents carried 3 matches.
