We have been playing far too much long ball this season, punting the ball up field only hands back possession to the opposition, why do that? Our possession stats this season are poor because of it, Leon today talked of getting back to basics, I hope he looks at our clear lack of ability at 'keeping the ball' it's fundamental to good football practise.

I would have preferred Curtis to have been brought back into the coaching staff alongside Leon, not sure young Toshack is the answer, the U23's are a far cry from PL standard, though I'm sure the Jack Army will get behind Leon 100%

Clement's sacking is as a result of serious issues at board level, we have had far too many managers over the last 3 years, that in it's self tells a story of failure by our self appointed DOF Huw Jenkins. The problem we have is that the Yanks are utterly clueless in running a 'Soccer' club, and so heavily rely on Jenkins, it's why they kept him on.

Sadly though for us, can we really go forward and repair this mess with Jenkins still in control as DOF? The answer is clearly not, and until Jenkins is sacked. this farce will continue, and we will continue to be a laughing stock of a club

HUW JENKINS MUST GO, UNTIL HE DOES WE WILL CONTINUE TO FLOUNDER. CLEMENT HAS GONE BUT THE PROBLEM STILL REMAINS.

Agree because the problem on the pitch is being caused by incompetence off it.

Keeping possession can be massively overrated. At the moment I think we are 23rd in possession stats in the Championship, BUT we are top on touches in the final 3rd , top on touches in the opposition box and top on shots at goal and we are 2nd in the table. I watch team after team passing the ball amongst the back 4 then go back from midfield. They come away with plenty of possession , but create nothing and lose. Theres more than 1 way to attack. Win the ball in the final 3rd and have wingers who can run the ball out of your own half , turning defence into attack quickly.

One well hit long pass to a striker who can hold the ball and bring everyone else into play is better than knocking it about aimlessly amongst the back 4.

This possession football isnt working for loads of teams in the Championship and we are reaping the rewards with a physical direct game which looking at the some of the PL games ive seen this season will work against a lot of clubs.

Your problem is your team is so poorly balanced , lack pace , lack a physical presence and are not that comfortable on the ball. You dont look capable of a direct approach or a passing approach.

Yesterdat I posted that Pulis must be on his way as a replacement is obviously lined up.

Think its clear I was wrong there. Your board had no one lined up.

Youll have a long hard season in The Championship next season if you dont make the right appoinment in the next few days..

"You're only as good on the pitch as you are off it" has always been my mantra.

The League Table shows how good we are at Board Room level.

The same situation as ours and yet the Trust didn't want to take Jerkins to court

Ibrox chairman is aware the law forces him to make club shares offer, court told.

Rangers chairman Dave King should not be treated as a "poor businessman" who did not know he is legally required to fund an £11m share purchase, a court has heard.
Advocate James McNeill QC told judge Lord Bannatyne the tycoon is not an "innocent".
The Court of Session in Edinburgh heard on Friday how Mr King allegedly knew legislation dictated people who hold a 30% stake in businesses are compelled to make the offer.

Mr McNeill told the judge a suggestion made by Mr King's legal team that their client was unaware of the 2006 Companies Act was incorrect.
The lawyer said there was evidence available to know Mr King was fully aware he would have to make an offer to remaining shareholders.
He said financial investigators believed they had established Mr King acted "in concert" with three wealthy fans, who are nicknamed the "Three Bears".
He said Mr King acted with George Latham, George Taylor and Douglas Park to acquire a 34% stake in the club.
Mr McNeill said he disagreed with claims the four men did not act in concert.
He also disagreed with a claim made by Mr King's lawyers that 14.7% of the 34% share was held by a company independent of Mr King.
Mr McNeill said Mr King refused to cooperate with investigators and all available evidence showed the businessman was in control of the 34% stake.
"Mr King is not some poor businessman who does not the workings of the Company Act. This is not someone who is a poor innocent. He didn't come before the panel and say 'I didn't realise'. He decided not to appear so he could not be cross-examined."
    Advocate James McNeill QC
Mr McNeill added: "Mr King is not some poor businessman who does not the workings of the Company Act.
"This is not someone who is a poor innocent. He didn't come before the panel and say 'I didn't realise'.
"He decided not to appear so he could not be cross-examined."
Mr McNeill was speaking on the final day of a two-day debate at the court.
The Panel On Takeovers and Mergers, which regulates financial deals in the UK, says it has started proceedings after Mr King ignored an order to make an offer for the remaining shares.
The panel want the court to make an order that would force Mr King to make a cash offer at 20p a share to remaining shareholders.
Mr King's advocate, Lord Davidson of Glen Clova QC, told the court his client did not have money to make the offer and was not able to fund the buy back.
Lord Bannatyne will issue his ruling at a later date

Jenkins is going nowhere anytime soon according to my sources and the job of manager has been offered to De Boer if he wants it and the signs are after meetings and De Boer's demands and assurances that he could take it......£90m will be made available as part of the deal to rebuild the squad.....

Big nose, liar, liar pants on fire.

"For the time being, the chairman of 15 years has no intention of stepping down and has told BBC Sport Wales he will respond to the Supporters' Alliance's calls for him to leave "when the time is right".

Jenkins, the owners, directors, coaches and players all have an enormous task on their hands - to save Swansea from relegation and, perhaps most importantly, to restore the club's fading identity".

The time will never be right for the chief sewer rat.

Changing managers is a cheap trick designed to create the impression of change whilst being little more than a cosmetic tweak. In this case, Swansea are a badly-run restaurant serving rotten ingredients who, in an almost insulting affront to their clientele’s intelligence, are hoping for a more prosperous future under a different chef.

Until Swansea fix their institutional failings, they might as well be painting these managers on the dressing-room wall. They’re rearranging deckchairs on a sinking ship, redecorating a crumbling house – essentially, doing nothing to avert imminent disaster. Leon Britton will take temporary charge this weekend, but whomever succeeds him will again by hamstrung by the same scattergun recruitment and will be equally undermined by the growing insitutional distrust.

This is such a shame, almost a tragedy. For much of the past decade, Swansea have been a counter-point to many of the assumed imperatives surrounding modern football. No longer, though, as now they’re just one of many. Another set of faceless executives swatting away the native concerns in the mistaken belief that they know better. - TIFO

The first time ever I was ashamed of our fans today.
We were attacking, playing better than at any time this season, all over Palace and pressing so the numpties in the East decided to chant, 'Jenkins out'.

Only City and United spent more than £90m net in the summer window, you’re on crack if you think you’re going to spend that amount of cash in January
