I sincerely hope this loan is one that is meant as another level in his development, and not one of these things like Scott Sinclair , where it finished up as permanent transfer! I see him as our future RB!
What would you know? We're apparently signing Cesar Azpi so best that young Sam gets some games somewhere.
Much rather he got his experience as back up to Ivan. Since thats not happening, hope he comes back as Bertrand did.
Kelly, Robinson and Flanagan have all featured heavily in all competitions and that's just at full back for us. Other than Bertrand, which youngsters will feature at all? You all talk of giving young chavs a chance, but there in none. Torres, Sturridge, Mata, Hazard 1, Hazard 2, Lampard, Oscar, Marin, Ramires, Lukaku and De Bruyne all in attacking positions and more I may have missed. The latter being on loan, yet, you still want Hulk and/or Cavani? Lukaku is someone you bought and doesn't even get a chance. I feel bad for McEachran, whose future England ambitions are destroyed by the season. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/7995574/Lukaku-reveals-loan-relief
The problem with Hutch is that whilst he can train each week he has not actually played consistently since his return form a 'career ending' injury. Makes sense to see if he can last a season with regular competitive football rather than take the risk at this point. From what I've seen of Azpi he's better anyway.
as much as we'd all like to see Hutch make it with us, we can't expect too much, the lad was in retirement not long ago! Also, lads, don't fall for jaffakop's bait.
I'm all for seeing him get a full season in, playing competitively ,every week, at a high level! I want him to develope, and if he does, I would like to think we will be sensible enough to bring him home! With 60+ games to get through and potential injuries to cover, Azpi wont be enough ! Hutch will undoubtedly earn his wages!
