7 hours and 40 minutes to go before it all starts. Got your beer, smokes, snacks and slippers at the ready? The good lady wife sent to visit her folks? Better put the cat and dog out too in case you start kicking them if things go wrong.

This is the big one, the last hurdle before the celerbrations begin or we start drowning our sorrows.

I haven't put a bet on this one so our chances are that much better.

Too close to call for a bet. For the first time since the Germany match when they beat us 4 - 1.

 

A true 50/50 game. I expect it'll be tight. We play exactly the same kind of traditionally italian style football. Almost identical really which is no real surprise given Capellos influence. Roy has just carried on his good work really, but his englishness probably helps. My concern is Terry against the italian forwards. He's an absolute carthorse. Stop Pirlo though and you win.

 

They can stay the same about Gerrard. Both of them have been fantastic and are in the top 5 players of the tournament.

I'm looking forward to it but know England have a bad habit of losing games when the two teams seem to be even.
