Yep but I used to take a shotgun with me.
That was the beauty of working shifts - you got unusual spare time.

    Millions of the bastards mate.
Lots of deer too if you're not too fussy about being arrested.

    Aye, I had a whippet x collie & a deerhound x greyhound.
The greyhound one was female & could jump a farmers five bar gate no problem.
Cracking hunters & good with kids too.
I used to have a lakeland terrier as well.
Most violent dog I've ever saw. Proper ****ing psychopath.
I used to take him & the whippet ratting, usually, carnage ensued, lol.

He was a right nasty **** mate.
    Couldn't trust him with kids.
A rat once bit him on the head & he nacked it to ****.
His head swelled up like a beach ball.
The vet squeezed all the pus out & gave him an injection.
Two days later he was ready for action again.
He'd fight owt, attacked a dobermann one time at the vets.

An old cat of mine nacked a dobermann. She was a mental cat, would attack anyone on sight. I thought the dog was going to savage her, I was ready to pick up pieces of my cat. But her claws went through that doberman's nose like it was butter and it looked like a tin that had been opened with an old school tin opener. <laugh>

Most domestic cats don't realise they've got the tools and attitude to be fierce. But only seem interested in birds and small mammals. Lucky for us.
