Though a strange coincidence work are sending me to Budapest at the same time as the GP. Its never one I've considered going to but after looking it up you can go for 3 days in general admission for under £90 and then the grandstands are no ore than £200 either so the situation must be taken advantage of! Was wondering where people think is best to watch the race, a race thats not famed for overtakes lol please log in to view this image Looking at that I'm thinking silver 1 or 8 might be interesting, and Gold 4 has potential to. I may just go general admission for the Sunday in the end but if I can convince some others to join me then might as well make a weekend of it for that price. Suggestions? I take it no one heres been there before as its not one of the 'big ones'?
I'm hoping to go to a Grand Prix this year, or possibly next, and if we can't make Spa then Budapest looks to be where we'd go, mainly due to price, and I've always fancied a visit to the city too. If general admission will let you stand near the first corner, you can always wander elsewhere when you fancy it. Just seeing the cars go through turn 4 would probably be an experience.
