Well done to those that turned out. The team would have got a great buzz from this. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hund...yers-Paragon/story-21109072-detail/story.html
Carefully engineered to avoid travelling along the city's streets by the sound of it...... Bit like the departure from Kirmington really. Sad.
One of those pictures had a girl with 'dork' written on her hat. I thought that was supposed to be an insult?! Isn't that the same as walking round with a dunce cap on?
Just seen it on Look North, and the crazy lady that used to sit behind me in the South Stand was greeting Mr McShane. Bet that was enjoyable for him, she even got interviewed! Sure she lives in Manchester, so that's devotion!
No I don't . What I know is this: - they flew down to Luton (for some reason), most unusual - they (or some them) trained it back where a coach awaited them Trains, planes and abutombiles- most unusual. But then this pathetic and damaging spat with the corporation goes on. It impacts the players and denies people the chance to say thanks.
You've made yourself look a dickhead before but even by your standards this takes the biscuit. Maybe they should have come home and done a tour of the city by rickshaw? We lost, no need for any sort of parade. As proud as we all are it's gone, let it go.
I got a rickshaw from Covent Garden back to my hotel, had some mad Moroccan driver, it was ****ing brilliant, though we did nearly crash twice.
How could they ever have done an open top bus tour of the streets of East Yorkshire? It would have taken a week.....And as far as I am aware, there is no spat with the council. Parnaby always welcomes the Alllams with open arms. Besides, now that CTWD have had their blusterous ego trip, I think that the tide will soon turn away from this Anti-Allam Hull 'love-in'. They will soon be better known as the East Yorkshire Targers I am sure.....
Wouldn't it be easier for people to give their thanks in this way, when we know where they are going to be at a certain time, rather than trying to track a bloody bus? I doubt the players would want an open top bus saying FA CUP RUNNERS UP 2014 on it.
Everyone should add one of those to their bucket lists of things to do. Fooking mental, exciting and scary!
We were walking down Oxford Street at 11ish when a Rickshaw passed us and they were CHANTING WERE ULL CITY !!! Class
Tried using one (pedal powered) from central Paris to our place up near Sacre Couer - up hill all the way!! Never made it but the bloke's face was a picture when we gave him our address.
