When I think or Quinn I just remember the absolute cracking times at Sunderland. I was mid teens when he was here with THAT team. Class memories.
 
Say it as many times as you like mate, I still would have withdrawn the offer, we have already made big statements in the transfer market and shown we are no longer pushovers. He is a Sunderland player now and will get my full support but as I said it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.

In my humble opinion, our ownership doesn't need the compensation.... this was about principle.
