    Am currently choking on it!

I was quick to be critical after the Hull match, rightly so...If we'd of won that, we'd be top! I've also given BR some stick recently.

But this performance was imperious and will hopefully cast off the away form shackles from here on in.

A couple of decent signings in January and who knows?

Still think this is crucial. Don't let off, sign the right player or two and we can get top 4. Champions league is still the number 1 target.

    DM and decent backup Striker.

SG can be sub, get someone in to challenge Lucas for his spot/rotate, and backup striker Benteke? good for me.

Flanno doing a job, don't need to worry about LB for me.

hopefully without SG, Allen and Henderson can thrive in midfield, big if though, hope they can.

LB (Flanno might be doing a job but can he do it for the whole season? Remember Insua's burnout)

CM - box to box preferably, a Gerrard type to provide some backbone. Sahin would have been that player for me had his loan not gone the way it did. There are a few young ones in the Bundesliga that I think our play would suit. A Javi Martinez like player maybe.

That's about it. If Studge and Suarez stay healthy, or just stay, we should be fine up front. Maybe a backup striker (better than Aspas but doesn't have to be a superstar) to replace Moses who I don't think has a future at the club.

Though if Allen, Moses, Aspas and the rest step up I'd be happy to be proved wrong.

well i doubt Flanno will be relied on for the rest of the season at LB, but take your point, if it comes down to it, he could end up like Insua did.

Moses i don't know what to make of, i asked the other week what people thought of Cissokho and Moses loans being cancelled in jan, but they dont seem to be doing a lot, if you call making the numbers up then great, but no impact.

trouble is can we get better than them in?, doubtful, our first priority should be first team anyway, not changing loan players, so prob stay sadly.

Aspas i will judge fairly next season if still here, we have given Lucas,Flanno,Henderson,Skrtel,Allen etc time to settle, only fair he gets same, his stats were amazing from (Spanish league i think it was) Moses i dont see any effort from like he doesnt want to be here, so **** him.

Showing faith has to balance with burnout when it comes to young players. Especially if (knock on wood) we start doing not so well, it can really affect a player's performance. I'd be willing to cancel the Cissokho loan if we got in a decent LB (Coentrao seems to be available, <whistle>). If not then I don't mind him staying on. He wasn't any good in his few starts but they were in big matches where the whole team played poorly - I'm willing to give both him and Aspas the benefit of the doubt for a while.

Moses doesn't really strike me as one that plays for the team, more like for himself. As long as he is at the club and is trying to win matches then I'll support him. But if he isn't putting in the effort then he can leave for all I care.

Basically the only position we really need reinforcements in is CM. We don't need a number 10, we've got Coutinho and Suso out on loan coming back next year. Maybe a nominal fee for Alonso, as my Spanish mates reckon he isn't signing a new contract in January. He's on a free next summer but we need him now.

Though would like a younger player for the long term there. Our league position in January will have a huge say in who we can attract.
