I'd been saying we were down since the Wolves game and that should we somehow survive I'd have to eat a big helping of humble pie. So to all the believers, those who never gave up hope, to all who kept the faith, I salute you. Nom, nom, nom, mmmm humble pie, nom nom nom.......................!!!!!!!!!!!! Up the R's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Having said much the same thing about being slaughtered by City, I'm eating that humble pie too. And nothing's ever tasted as good
Good man Grove, very big of you to admit you were wrong. But trust me, even massive believers like me were having doubts at 1545 yesterday afternoon
I never believed we would go down but after my visit from rentaghost I was even looking at the championship ... Not that I was worried as we have risen and bonded very well under MH. I honestly think we will push well into the stop ten next year .. depending on the team of course but IMO we will not lose all the players we think we will and i expect couple of big names to come in as well no idea who they will be but I will go on record as saying we now have a very good defence and I love Taiwo as for Diakite well as i said at the time he was quality having seen him in France
I have a confession to make, been struggling with this one for a while, but here goes; I think Grant Holt should get a chance for England now that Jonny Wilkinson has gone right off the boil. Would it be a banning offence to admit to ****ing loving Norwich too? Ok, I guess Joey can keep me company....
I am usually negative when it comes to qpr, my family will say the same! And I really feared the worst with 10 games left, and it was even worse looking at Boltons run in compared to ours! I am so so glad to have been proved wrong, and it makes the moment even sweeter.
Swords when I asked for everyone to remain positive you answered Pugwash, I would not like to be in the trenches with you you are without doubt the worse QPR supporter that I have ever come accross so fecking negitive stick to taxi driving.
If it helps Queenlanders new middle name "is down at Christmas". after sending me that in a text when we were 2 nill down against liverpool
The funny thing is, my other two family members are always telling me I'm deluding myself when I talk up the team / squad. They're far worse than you perceive me to be. I often joke to them that they wouldn't last 5 minutes on here as they're far worse than I am. Maybe you guys are too positive and they're too negative and I'm exactly right? ( You think I'm the worst supporter out there? Check out Peruvian who said he was wishing we lost yesterday! Now put that in your pipe and smoke it.)
Swords my old sparring friend I look forward to Kerry beating the Dubs in this years GAA Championship.
It is indeed a very real possibility. Its fierce hard trying to defend an All-Ireland title as you know. Harder to win it the second time round because you're the team everyone wants to beat. It will be a great game if they meet.
