First and foremost, Hull City are Premier League - once again the standard bearers as the top football club in Yorkshire. Fully deserved after a hard-fought and bloody nerve-wracking season. This was a team effort - we've had a few players shine in fits and starts, a few that were solid all season, and a few that have vindicated themselves after a fair amount of stick. Can't wait to see who we bring in to strengthen this young and ambitious side. It may be the ale talking, but I think we're better placed - and wiser - this time around. What a day, what a season, full credit to all at Hull City AFC and of course to those fans who kept the faith in the ups and downs.

It's been a good season for Yorkshire football in general - alongside ourselves, Doncaster are promoted to the Championship, while Rotherham are promoted to League One. Both Bradford and Sheffield United are in with a chance of play-off glory, while Wednesday, Huddersfield, Barnsley and York all managed to avoid relegation in their respective divisions. Leeds finished the season on a high note, with McDermott likely to lead the team back up the table provided the owners don't shaft him financially. Boro will be disappointed, but they're still in the Championship. In non-league football, fellow East Yorkshire club North Ferriby United have been promoted to the Conference North.

Really looking forward to next season, and how Bruce will build on a solid spine (assuming our loans become permanent) of Stockdale, Chester, Hobbs, McShane, Meyler, Elmo, Koren, Brady, Boyd, Aluko, Evans...and perhaps a few others. We clearly need a proper goalscorer, not an old fart or a money-grubber. But its great to see a team of fairly young, hungry players, many of whom can go far, wearing the black and amber.

Where do you think we should strengthen the side, and who should we (realistically) sign? Who should we keep, who should we let go?
