Hull v Watford The Hornets, fresh off their comeback win against Norwich, travel to 6th placed Hull. Watford, after 18 games, have a record of 6 wins, 6 draws, and 6 losses. The number of the beast means a trip to a team a vowel away from Hell is timely. Hornet fans will recognise Tufan. Although he was only a used sub in their last outing, a confortable 4-1 thrashing of Rotherham. Watford will need to address defensive frailties, especially from corners, if they are to get anything from this game. I think that away form might be the difference between midtable obscurity and a push for the play offs. Enjoy the game. ¡¡COYH COYH COYH!! Team news to follow.
TBH City declared after 60 mins... We could have taken off 5 and replaced them with 3 and still won comfortably, Rovrum were that sh!te...Be different tomorrow, tight game on the cards. 1-1
Our form is better than our current position in the table, and I feel these are the sort of games which will determine are we really capable of a play-off run, or just a mid-table side. Ultimately, if you want to move up the table, you need to take points off teams above you. Would be very happy with a point.
When he first arrived he was overweight and unfit, then he knuckled down, got fit and was a handy player. His problem with us now, is that his best position is probably central midfield and he's not going to get a place there ahead of Seri or Morton, so he's generally coming on late in games and playing as a second striker, which isn't really his best position (though he's capable of scoring the odd great goal).
He started the season well, getting h/t vs FC Massive aka Sheff Wed. Scored a couple more, got injured vs Bristol City, then in and out the side like a fiddlers elbow. When he gets off the bench he is either okay or goes AWOL. Can't see him starting tomorrow, be on the bench for impact if we're chasing a goal. If we're ahead going into the last 15 mins and needed to tighten midfield, then Regan Slater will be the 1st chose.
It would appear that Georgie is under orders to rest his groin, so will not be taking part tomorrow. No clue as to who will be in goal, or get the armband.
Probably Bachmann on both accounts to much wailing and nashing of teeth on Twitter no doubt! Val might play it safe and keep Hoedt as captain to play it safe.
Well he's been a silly boy, and Hamer deserves a chance. 5 year contract and club captaincy and have given DB an air of invincibility which he hasn't coped with: standards have dropped. So he has been.
This site worked quite well on Tuesday, so giving it another go. http://www.fawanews.com/Hull City vs Watford.html
