They've already been docked 3 points earlier in the season for fielding former City youth player Nicky McNamara. They now face another 12 pointer for not registering two lads under the correct player status. They're in the playoff places, but this will effectively end their promotion hopes.
Basics. When I dabbled my secretary was a trades union official. He didn't get anything wrong, even if he might of done.
Not making a new thread for it but jesus christ Nth Ferriby resting players for Cup games. The games ****ed. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Bill...or-Cup-Final/story-28976954-detail/story.html Tuesday night's side was made up of mostly kids with five first team players getting valuable minutes ahead of a run-in that Heath hopes ends with promotion to the National League. Heath admits he will use the cup final to assess his youngsters in a big game environment saying it's a reward for their hard work. It's brilliant for the kids to get to play at the KC Stadium," Heath told the Mail. "It's a big opportunity to play at a ground like that and it's a fitting reward for them. "With the timing of the final, I will play a young team. "I'll learn a lot more about them in that game and hopefully they can go out and win the cup. It's great for the club to get through to the final." It's a chance for Heath and his assistant Mark Carroll to add another trophy to their collection at the Eon Visual Media Stadium. Already, they have won the Evo-Stik Premier League title, the Doodson Cup (twice), the East Riding Senior Cup and the FA Trophy last season. Ryan Kendall, who scored two of Ferriby's three goals at Wembley last March, was one of five senior players to play against Hall Road Rangers on Tuesday night. Danny Emerton, Mark Gray and Sam Topliss also featured and all four converted their penalties to see Ferriby through. Heath praised all four and goalkeeper Tom Nicholson for their approach to the semi-final. "The attitude of those five players was fantastic," Heath said. "Sometimes, players see playing a game like that as a punishment, but not them. "They all said they enjoyed getting back on the pitch and playing the game. "They needed to get some playing time in them as we head towards the business end of the season." It might be asking too much for the four outside players to be asked to start against Stockport after playing 120 minutes four days earlier. But Heath admits they all did what was asked of them and did their chances of being selection no harm at all. "They all boosted their chances because of the attitude they showed. "Not only did they give it their all during the game, but they also looked after the young players which was what I wanted to see from them."
It's not something the chairman would look after. Apparently it was someone who has now left that made the error. I assume that person was working as secretary at the time. Chazz - I know what you mean but that cup is only of interest to clubs the size of United, Brid Town and Hall Road. Ferriby have at least two other cup competitions which are far more serious than this to them. They play their U19s in the East Riding Cup same as City do.
Yep but it's probably even lower down the list of priorities for them than it is for City, hence our U21s got knocked out by Hall Rd. I don't even know what the Doodson Cup is but with that and the FA Cup and Trophy they obviously have more competitions than league teams do and much smaller first team squads.
