Hull City have reportedly taken Brazilian goalkeeper Adriano Basso on trial. The 6ft 1in stopped made his name during a successful six-year stint between the Bristol City sticks. He moved to Wolves last summer put was released last month without having made a single appearance for the Molineux outfit. He is therefore available on a free transfer should he impress during his trial. Basso was the goalkeeper beaten by Dean Windass' volley when Hull overcame Bristol City in the 2007/08 Championship play-off final at Wembley Stadium. The Tigers are thought to be trialling Basso this week, while also pressing ahead with a loan move for Liverpool`s Peter Galusci.
