Just spoken to a mate, who's a press photographer, reckons there's been trouble before and after the match in Belgium.

He wasn't there but a mate, in the same agency, was there for 'Calendar' a local news station.

Reckons Hull were nothing but noisy and naive, two were bitten by police dogs after retaliating to missiles being thrown by Lokeren hooligans.

Shame to hear, glad to hear the Hull lads weren't the firestarters.

The Belgians, and the Swiss, get away with it cos there countries are perceived as a bunch of ****ing fannies.

The police herded all our fans together after the game even though there hadn't been any trouble. As they was walking down the road they was bombarded with bricks and bottles, amongst our fans were women and kids. We've heard there's six of our fans in hospital.

So you can shove your sarcy remark right up your ****ing arse, ****wit.

I hope your lads and lasses are alright, I hate to see people get hurt and sometimes more just attending a ****ing football match. Para is a good poster who never vents any malice, I'm sure it was light hearted and no offence was meant to be taking <ok>

Seems the Belgian police advised the Hull fans against going near a certain bar pre-match, then herded them past it after the game.

Sounds like an absolutely disgraceful piece of policing, and sounds as if lasses and kids were showered with bottles.

Bad craic if true, apparently there are video's on Instagram etc.

They lost an arl, what a **** night...

If that`s true they really need to be taken to task over that. Nothing short of incitement. What did they expect?

I was actually ok with it. I was satisfied with the League Cup final and was prepared to sacrifice the FA Cup to help our relegation fight. Assuming we got to the final of that cup also, I think the extra few games might have been to much for our already weak squad and we may not have survived.

We will never know though, of course.

If you wanted the full Middlesbrough experience I'm sure you'd just get relegated. :emoticon-0136-giggl

I blame the missus insisting that I drink wine instead of the usual beer <cheers>

There were some good suggestions in that wine thread, I took a guilty note of some of them.

If my Dad knew I was discussing wines with Sunderland lads he'd turn in his grave <whistle>
