For once, this really isnt Eff Cee's fault and is clearly ours. We shouldve broached this subject 3 weeks ago, there is no way they can move the game now.
Supposedly we take priority at the end of the season and FC at the end of ours. We could have asked for it to be moved if we had done so in time. Asking a few days beforehand is not practical. The club have slipped up here. Maybe they assumed we would be up by now and it has rebounded on them.
It looked like there was a chance of play offs months ago, and the Super League fixtures have been public since November, if Hull had been asked much earlier I don't think there'd have been a problem.
Didn't we move a game at short notice against Ipswich a few years ago so they'd have a home game for the Play Off's?
If we drop into the playoffs then it will be one dispirited team of players who bottled it playing a team jubilant in getting to 6th place. We may be thankful to play on a rubbish pitch - it may be a leveler.
I'm not sure how short notice it was, but it was played on the Saturday dinner time, not moving the game from Friday to Sunday the week of the game.
Complete non-issue, if Hull City wanted it moving they would have asked, they didn't ask so it hasn't been moved. Stop trying to create an issue out of nothing.
We did ask for it to be moved, we just left it too late... http://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.uk/story-18856575-detail/story.html?#axzz2RwNyiGIy
Not seen that article yet, thanks for pointing it out. It's entirely Hull City's fault then, if they genuinely think this may affect result then why wait until a few days before? This has been a possibility for months and you’re not going to postpone another sports game at such short notice without a genuine reason. It has all the signs of panic in the camp, it will have next to no effect on the performance.
I'm struggling to see how this is a bad thing. Why do we want a good pitch when we're playing the best team in the league? I for one hope it's a ****ing mine field on Saturday. The last thing the Cardiff players want is to be worrying about turning an ankle on a dreadful surface.
Erm, they clearly do. Or are you suggesting that rugby only pitches are as pristine all year round and show no signs of wear and tear whatsoever? Perhaps you mean they dont do as much damage as football? That is not the issue here, the issue is the amount of use the pitch gets and no rest period during close season.
These stories bore the **** out of me. We get there's a rift between City and the black & whites, why make it worse? Afterall, there are some who like both sports and teams. The twats who hate City will be on their high horses now and gobbing off about the Johnny Whitely photo debacle again.
No they do not. If you have clear and indisputable evidence to the contrary, share it with us. You thinking rugby players running around the pitch before our game will ruin it does not constitute fact.
