I was asked in Odeon car park the best way to the ground by a Hull fan. I said down the side of the pub, cross the road and turn righ. They walked with us and talked to my lad (aged 7). When one of them said "I bet your second favourite team is Hull" my lad answered "no" Which they had a good laugh at their mate. We walked along chatting agreeing that we both needed a win for playoff chances so settled on the fact because of that it'd probably be a 1-1 draw. Bottom line a group of 5 early 20's lads from the oppsition team showed how fans can behave and are a credit to their team and their fans. It did make the walk to the game interesting by giving the good and bad about our sides.
Moulton A refreshing snapshot that confirms what we all probably know deep inside and when emotions are not raw - the majority of footie fans are decent people
Works on one level - but only if your knowledge of Rugby doesn't distinguish between the codes of 'Union' and 'League' - HKR fans would indeed be very lost - London Broncos being the only reason for them to be south of Yorkshire!
I walked back from the KC stadium in my Leicester shirt surrounded by Hull fans in December. Was my first away game, so expected it to be bad, but they didn't even notice
I bet they´re not so happy now that they´re 2-0 down away to Pompey. Still Fryup will get them back in it... no wait he´s not due another goal for about 4 games.......... Hull your ****ed.
The rest of them aren't, but thats been for a week or so now anyway. I'm about 4 weeks ahead of them because I had my being pissed off at them for blowing the season back at the end of January. I've reached the mellow phase of the process where I'm now finding the humour in everything that's going wrong all at once being things that were predicted. We're now approaching a selection headache because we've got two key players on 9 yellow cards and no adequate replacements in the squad, and even the substandard ones are going and getting themselves injured in advance of the 2 game bans kicking in. M'boro on Easter Monday could be a real goalfest for them, if they've picked up the bookings before then any gamblers amongst you should have them with a two or three goal handicap.
Hull City fans are a friendly lot nowadays.. ..It's the rugby fans that have a bad name only the Hull Daily Mail ignore trouble caused by HFC and HKR fans .. And nope wer not all suicidal over recent results , After all Both our clubs still have a chance of a play off spot with 21 points still up for grabs ..ANYTHING can still happen ..if we fail there's always next season and the championships a decent league anyway ..
