I was asked in Odeon car park the best way to the ground by a Hull fan. I said down the side of the pub, cross the road and turn righ. They walked with us and talked to my lad (aged 7). When one of them said "I bet your second favourite team is Hull" my lad answered "no" Which they had a good laugh at their mate. We walked along chatting agreeing that we both needed a win for playoff chances so settled on the fact because of that it'd probably be a 1-1 draw. Bottom line a group of 5 early 20's lads from the oppsition team showed how fans can behave and are a credit to their team and their fans. I copied this from what i put on the Leicester forum It did make the walk to the game interesting by giving the good and bad about our sides.
A sane one! I'd hurry up and get off our board before we capture you and stick you in a zoo as the last of your species
Thanks for posting this, like with any club the majority of us are decent people going to watch a game of football and it's good that our supporters left you with a good impression.
I thought that it was real nice of Leicester to prepare for us so well. We walked up Tigers Way and there was a huge stadium with our name on it, not to mention the Everards Tiger bitter. They even laid on a drummer to keep us entertained when the match was slow. Its just a shame that we were regarded as "high risk" (the police's words) and no beer at the King Prawn Stadium. We had a great day out, as we always do at away games.
Unfortunately i was sat with the idiots at the match....... However i like a nice chat with some locals on the way to the ground and on the way back, and glad that you saw the good side of our fans.
