Glad to see North Ferriby win the Professional Sporting Moment Award last night. Although nobody from the club was there to collect the award. Shame. They were all busy training apparently.

The majority of the awards went to boxers and rugby league players/clubs.

Not surprising I suppose when Tommy Coyle and James Smailes (HDM) were the only 2 sports orientated judges of the 4.

The bias was embarrassing towards the end.

To be fair we never had much to shout about last season, however next year we'll absolutely smash it.

I disagree on the bias, our team hasn't exactly had the greatest year, whereas the two home grown boxers had a great year, one of the Rugby teams did do well in a cup (KR), and North Ferriby defied the odds.

I'm perfectly fine with us not getting many mentions, we've had nothing to shout massively about.

I agree about the Professional side of football in this City but these awards are mainly for amateur players and clubs. Football in general had very few
nominations. I thought Hull City Ladies had a successful season but no mention of them.
