Hi All, Just thought I would give you all an update on the Hull City team a.k.a Manchester United part 2. City have signed and loaned plenty from the Manchester United academy over the last few seasons, and its fantastic for both clubs, and as fans I think its good to know how they are getting on and how they are developing. As your probably well aware we have signed Joe Dudgeon, James Chester, Corry Evans, Robbie Brady (loan) and Cameron Stewart, so i will start from the first one. Joe Dudgeon - Came with a lot on his shoulders, all the fans expected him to be the best LB we have had at the club, but with very little first team experience he was very nervous first few games in, which in all fairness is expected. He was dropped for our captain Andy Dawson after 4 games, since then Dawson has picked up an injury and Dudgeon has come back a new player. Work really hard, has a good tackle, got a throw like Rory Delap and is improving a lot. Very left footed. James Chester - this lad has had nothing but praise off everyone at Hull City, he has been an absolute wall in our defence. He's got critics of his height, 5ft 9 for a CB is very small, but he wins everything. Best player iv seen in 1 on 1 situation to defend, and I cannot praise him enough on how good he is. Corry Evans - He began the season out of shape, he even said so himself a few weeks ago in the local paper, and hasn't featured as much as what he thought he would. He has recently got back into the team and performing at a high standard and probably had his best game in a Hull shirt against Doncaster 2 games back. Robbie Brady (Loan) - Brilliant player, very left footed, very attack minded, and is improving all the time, partly because NP is on him all the time forever trying to improve him. He likes to have a shot, he has had the most shots any Hull City player has had so far this season, not bad from playing on the wing. However, he has only scored 1, but assited 3 so not a bad return. That is an area for improvement, because he gets in these positions and then doesnt have any end product have the time. But like I said improving and is a great asset to our team. I'm sure we will be trying to get him for the rest of the season Cameron Stewart - Hasn't featured yet this season, as he is still recovering from an injury, but christ, he is quick and when he is back (expected in the next couple of weeks) he will be giving any defence a hard time with his sissor kick skill and his ridiculous pace. A really decent player. So there we have it, I am sure we will have more United players in the future whilst our Warren Joyce is still at United. Good luck to the season, I for one am enjoying watching Nani play whenever you are on sky (every week )
Brady and Chester have just really started well this season and Brady looks a great aspect for the future
I'm hoping Stewart comes back in top form. He was average when we first signed him, unplayable over Christmas through to the end of February of last season and then his form petered out (before his injury).
