    Hull City
A great start to the Season was brought to an abrupt end with conceding a David Nugent hat-trick at the King Power, and many expected the Tigers to bounce back against the rock bottom side Peterborough, but it wasn't to be. The Tigers fluffed many opportunities and it came to bite them on the arse when Ferguson's side hit them on the break and Sinclair helped himself to a hat-trick too. The results haven't really halted the optimism that was around prior to the defeats as Hull still look perfectly capable of scoring when they're in possession. Some defensive stability will need to be re-installed into the side and especially when the Club have shipped in a hasty 8 goals in 3 games. City's last clean sheet was back against Charlton and it's not looking as it was last Season so far. Should the Tigers be able to find their previous attacking intent and keep their confidence high, there shouldn't be anything to worry about. James Chester and Seyi Olofinjana are expected to miss out with injury and could be replaced with Liam Rosenior/Paul McShane and Corry Evans respectively.

    Blackpool
Also starting to lose some form, the early Season high-flyers have stuttered lately and like Hull, have lost their 2 last games. Talisman Tom Ince has really hit the ground running this Season and is certainly dictating the team's style of play but much to the Tiger's relief, will probably be out with injury. Likewise former Tiger Gary-Taylor Fletcher. Even with them, Blackpool have many players capable of winning a game, such as Nathan Delfouneso, Kevin Phillips and Matt Phillips. Another similarity to the Tigers, Blackpool have calmed down in the 'Goals Scored' column and have started to ship in some goals too losing their previous two games 3-1 and 3-0. Should Hull's defenders put in another Peterborough-esque display, Blackpool are the sort of team to really punish them.

    Analysis
Both teams are incredibly alike in terms of squad quality, League form and League position. Both got off to flying starts and have deteriorated of late. This looks as though it's either going to be an open, attacking game with both sides wanting to bounce back, or a more defensive display from both in hopes of trying to calm the amount of goals being conceded. Hull and Blackpool are both more than capable of winning this game and in retrospect, this should be a very entertaining game.

    Super Tiger's Prediction
I don't know how to call City's results anymore really, one day we look capable of beating anybody and then another, we look hopeless in terms of converting chances and defending. I think with losing to both Leicester and Peterborough, the Tigers will be well up for it and hopefully hit Blackpool whilst they're down. We as Hull supporters have every reason to be apprehensive going into this game, and I'm going to be an optimist and go for a narrow Hull win although I'd happily take a draw.

I'll go a 2-1 City win although I'd also be happy to take a point just to calm the losing streak against a good Blackpool team.

Sadly I can't see anything other than getting pulverised until Bruce is sacked and we get Pearson back 5-1 to Blackpool. Regardless, I'll be making the long journey to the match from wookey hole in Somerset, which is near* Leicester. Also Leicester to win the league with a 10 point cushion and a +70 goal difference.

Arnold, hope you're reading this <ok>

I can't see Holloway going defensive, it is not in his DNA these days, as you say difficult one to call, just hope the Tigers can get back to winning ways, go for 1-0 to City.

Unfortunately I can see us getting stuffed again, think the bubble might have burst. I hope not but think Erik might be near the score without the 2 for us. If Proschwitz starts we won't score in the match.

    I agree about Faye

Abdoulaye Faye's magic! He's got a massive nob!
And when he sees a woman, he shoves it in her gob!
He'll stick it up her fanny, he'll shove it up her bum!
And then he'll go down Elland Road and **** Neil Warnock's mum!

If we do win, it'll be 1-0. As dismissive as this sounds and as good a player as he is, Chester has been a bit shaky in the last few games and a rest might help him get his head together. Having said that, we have fallen into the habit of not keeping clean sheets and I'm worried that (as the OP said) if we don't focus, we will get punished by the Phillips boys.

Matt Phillips on his day is almost certainly a match winner and could give our relatively slow defense a bit of a problem if our wing backs are stuck in attack mode. But I think after the last two defeats Brucey will tell them to be a bit more defensive minded so we might be ok.

This game could go either way to be honest, I fancy them to sneak it just as much as I do us. If Ince and Taylor-Fletcher are missing that will be a massive boost for us, though they do still have some dangerous players we need to watch. We've shown we're a good enough team at times this season, as fans I think we sometimes do get too downbeat after a couple of defeats. To all those prediciting a comfortable Blackpool win, let's remember that like us after a good start they have lost their last couple of games. Whoever scores first tonight will win.

if Oli is out, we have lost.
Evans is nowhere near Olivagina's level
it will have to be McKenna

All out attack by both sides. So it has all the makings of a 5-4 game,, maybe.!!! I shall be more than happy with 1-0 to the Tigers tonight.

As outragous as my 7-0 from last saturday. Get ready to be disapointed.!!

3-1 sounds good to me But i think the gate will be closer to 16,000 actually.

Oh wait a mo. Its Champions League on tv tonight. Maybe less than 14,000 then. Grrrrrrrr

This is my first taste of City under Bruce so don't really have a clue what to expect but I think a point would be a good result
