    Bloody lunchtime kick offs.

    Pub breakfast I suppose

Same starting line up for me, although I wouldn’t be surprised to see a change and Ohio on from the start. (For Carvalho)

Tufan in for Omur I suspect. Abdus was superb on Tuesday but WBA are a bit more, err, robust** than Southampton.

Tufan or Ohio, yeah. A more physical threat.Their clogger centrehalves are a very different proposition to Southampton's.

Arron Connolly the angry Irishman, and Billy Sharp up front from the off then.

Think this is an even tougher game than Tuesday. Southampton are a better team than WBA but we were suited to playing against them. WBA will sit in and make it difficult and we’ll probably struggle to break them down. I’d start a recognised striker although it’ll be hard to choose who drops out.

I don’t think they’re as strong away from home, so I’m being optimistic and going for a 2-1 win

    You’re probably right

I’ll be more cautious and say I wouldn’t be surprised to see and actual striker start and one of the other attackers dropped to bench

I’m not sure why everyone thinks we should go for a more physical forward upfront because of West Brom having big physical centre backs.

They’d much prefer to face Ohio or Sharp and have a battle. A rotating false nine would be a nightmare for the big thick clubbers to get their heads around. Failing that get Connelly running channels all day.

I seem to remember this was one of Delaps poorer performances as the WBA centre backs won the physical duel.

Small quick tricky forwards for this one. Connolly to start not Sharp. Also Omur to start against not so mobile defenders.
