HULL CITY v WATFORD MKM Stadium Saturday 22nd April 2023 Kick Off : 1500 BST please log in to view this image It is hard to raise interest in this game after Wednesday evening, but the game has to be played. Hull is a long journey for Watford fans, yet some will have their tickets and still go. At a time when the Hornets occupy 12th spot in the table, Hull are six points further adrift in 16th position. Watford are without an away victory since January 2, a statistic which highlights the size of their task ahead of making the visit to the MKM Stadium. From Hull's perspective, they have long been playing for consolidation, yet that is acceptable right now having spent much of the campaign threatened by relegation. Liam Rosenior has overseen just two wins in 13 matches, but accumulating seven draws during that period has proven the difference when it comes to staying clear of the bottom three. Hull had been on course to extend their unbeaten run to six matches earlier this week when they led Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium, only to succumb to three goals at the start of the second half. Team News None available, but after Wednesday it will be interesting to see who will start. Our Officials OLIVER LANGFORD please log in to view this image Rob Smith and Mark Stevens Stephen Martin
There is no Hive video stream for domestic fans, but it is available for us Internationals. I will not be subscribing.
I will be washing the car with Three Counties Radio on in the background, always less stressful if you are busy
Wasn't much of a game when we played them at the Vic so doubt ti will be now. Hull seem to be pretty decent now and keeping clean sheets at home so not expecting much.
Missing this...as down in Sussex for an 80th Birhday do...... A meaningless match now.... except for pride
Be nice to see Blake in action for those going - be one of his first bad last appearances in a Watford shirt ! Apparently Adeyemo and Grieves are injured?
Cathcart and Morris seem to be out of favour. Shame as they have been 2 of our better defensively players this season .
Yes - and who knows why? I wonder what coaches see about players that fans don't see - for example I wouldn't have Kamara anywhere near a side of mine. I was hoping to go to the Buckie vs Brechin match today - but the only stand was already completely full at 1:30, 90 minutes before kick off, and it's one of those grounds where standing isn't really an option when it's raining. Brechin fans had already commandeered the only shelter - probably near 1000 of them there.
Neat move between Pedro and Andrews ends with Pedro skying the ball over the bar. Not playing too badly so far.
20 mins. in and Andrew French describes it thus: This is a sorry game so far. Two teams who can't hold onto the ball, stray passes, over hit through through-balls, and all at a tempo not much above walking pace.
