Saturday 2nd November 3pm A win would be nice…. Control the game again like we did against derby and we will do it!! And we certainly need to be aiming for Bedia in the box to get on the end of some crosses. city 2-0
Portsmouth, home of the navy, with more hammocks than Portugal has hotel beds. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Watched them on Friday night, they were really not very good, didn’t seem to have a recognisable style of play. Think we could do well but I suspect they will deploy the team bus.
My wife’s first game. Met her 3 weeks previously. Remember it clearly, we had lost 1-0 at Middlesbrough. She liked football but had never been to a game. Had to explain it wasn’t like this every week. As she found out during the next few years as she always went with me until we had the kids, first of in 1980.
Most pubs per square mile outside of London.Followed by Norwich. No doubt some numbnut will say they get good crowds and a large away following is there is nothing to do there compared to ‘Ull.
Bedia is on par with Bamber. I will wager he does not get six goals this season and I don't include penalties.
If Portsmouth get good crowds ours are very good. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Anything less than a win here and there could be some interesting scenes at full time. They'll park the warship I think that much is obvious, and probably do a good job of frustrating our mediocre attack
True but seen them a few times including friday They are genuine league 1 all over We will beat them No doubt about it If we dont... then big big questions arise
Only been to Pompey once that I can remember, had to stay in a ****hole of an Hotel with no bar. Me and a workmate travelled down by road to catch the ferry for Jersey to do a job. We was only staying overnight and had to go find a pub and came across one near the port, a right old bugger where you expect 'em to knock down and drag 'em up fight to happen. Can't say what Pompey was like because we only saw the parts as we drove in and any Channel Island jobs we had after that we flew there from Brum airport thank ****.
I used to use that ferry route to get to Guernsey in the early 80s. Pitch up at Pompey after hitching down. Buy a standby ticket. Sleep on the floor of the terminal until a slot was available. Sleep slumped on a seat during the crossing. Arrive refreshed and raring to go. The same journey would probably kill me now.
