Oxford started quite brightly against Norwich and knocked the ball about well. They are a step up from Plymouth but we need to win this if we’re going to finally break free of this relegation magnetism!

I can see us appealing just so he can play against Oxford, yes there's a small chance they could extend the ban if they think it's frivolous but I don't think they will as even if not successful with the appeal he pulled out and didn't make contact
Oxford are the worst performing team in the Championship over the last 6 games. Of course, as we all know, form counts for nowt so they'll probably reach the playoffs. Or win the FA Cup or summut.

Thinking back from the Morton one last season, I don't think he can play. I don't think they'll appeal the red, but given he visibly pulled out it once he realised he wasn't getting there you'd hope it wasn't deemed malicious intent. Hence a reduced ban.
Maybe I'm wrong, or they've changed it but I've definitely heard managers admit they've done exactly this before In fact I'm sure you have 2 working days to lodge an appeal. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be able to hold the appeal before Wednesday evening if we used the 2 full days
An appeal has to be resolved before the next match, otherwise teams would file tactical appeals they expected to lose so that a player could become eligible for cup finals and other important games. Either they appeal and it’s resolved before Wednesday, or they don’t.
Yeah I know Kalman had speculated it might only be 1 game but I missed confirmation. We might be able to get it downgraded to 2 hopefully.
