    Firstly wouldnt today have been ideal for a game!!

    Had a look and looks to have sold quite well.

    Cant see any changes being made. Bring back Jak...

    I keep saying it but I'd like to see a clever free kick or corner, summat different. Show they've been working on things in training. Keeping sharp.

    Someone please kick Sterling. Cant stand him.

    City win. :emoticon-0140-rofl:

    the commentary on this game is going to be rather biased. the commentators will only mention our lot, calling them either "hull" or "city". the manchester team won't get a mention.

    Manchester City FC, was founded at St Mark’s Church, Gorton in 1880 in a bid to bring the community together and provide an alternative to the gang culture called 'scuttling' of the 1870s.

    Anna Connell, the rector’s daughter, is said to have founded the club.

    Maine Road, Manchester City's home from 1923-2003 was an 80,000 capacity stadium and the country's largest club ground. The only stadium larger was Wembley. The drop from a capacity of 88,000 to 31,000 is the greatest reduction in capacity for any club.
    Maine Road also boasted the largest playing surface in the country.

    The ground share between Man City and Man United created a unique period as Maine Road had more paying customers in a season than any other venue in any sport.

    The oldest player to play in the Premiership was Manchester City goalkeeper John Burridge, who was 43 years, 4 months and 26 days when he came on as a half time substitute for Manchester City v Newcastle United on April 29, 1995.

    Youngest Player who ever played for them was Glyn Pardoe, who was 15 years 314 days (against Birmingham City, First Division) in 1962.
    Manchester City have only twice held the British transfer record, once for Steve Daley in 1979 from Wolverhampton Wonderers for £1,180,000 and latterly, Robinho from Real Madrid in 2008 for £32,500,000.

    Manchester City scored over a hundred goals in 1957/58, only to concede a 100 goals in the same season.

    In 1937-38, they managed to become the only club ever to be relegated with a positive goal difference (80-77). They also became the only team to be relegated after being champions the previous season. Moreover, They slipped down five places on the last day of the season, and were the highest scorers in the league.They were the first team to have won a European trophy and subsequently play in the third tier of their league.

    Manchester City were the first club to hold three trophies in a single season.

    In 1906, only a few years after Manchester City won the FA Cup, a large portion of their team was suspended due to financial irregularities.

    In 1987, Manchester City beat Huddersfield 10-1 and three players scored hat tricks. David White, Tony Adcock and Paul Stewart, with Neil McNab scoring the other.

    If the Jak plays, we'll win. Marshall starts, we lose, Big.

    Jak = 3-1 to us.
    Marshall = 0-5

    Hopefully Mike The Tinkerman Phelan will mix it up a little bit, what with a couple back in contention.

    Not hopeful mind.

    You Ull.

    Saw Budgie play many times at Blackpool. A proper character, and a great goalie.

    I've seen Budgie play twice, he was brilliant on both occasions.
