A goalless goaw on New Years day against Forest could be forgiven. 9 changes and a humiliating defeat against Newport Country was hard to take. Losing against anm out of soughts Ipswich Town set alarm bells ringing But losing at home against the Wall, conceding four in the process is unforgivable. To make matters worse, Leeds ill discipline on the pitch has led to three sendings off in as many matches, and with Phillips reaching his yellow card quota Christensen will have his hands full putting out a competitive side. Pennington will replace the suspended Cooper - personally I have never rated Cooper. Hernandez will replace Saiz - depending on what Hernandez turns up on the day. Viera (if fit) to replace Phillips. O'Kane to come back from suspension. Hull's off field problems have been as well documented as Leeds with Egyptian (so called) business owner Assem Allam bleeding the Tigers dry in exactly the same kind of way Ken Bates did with Leeds during his 7 year tenure as Chairman of Leeds. Only goal difference separates the Tigers from the drop zone having lost to Sunderland a week ago. They have however progressed to the next round of the FA Cup having beating Forest 2-1 at the KC Stadium on the 27/1. Will their latest victory lift their confidence? Bearing in mind the badge scandal that has rocked Leeds this week, which club has been the biggest laughing stock?
Morning elk or evening. On paper this looks our best chance of three points in next five or six games. Dare I say, even with a third of season remaining, this is a must win match with us now five points off playoffs and dropping like a stone
Afternoon Eire, yes dare I say a must win for both clubs. A loss or draw will draw up towards mid table obscurity whilst a loss for the Tigers is likely to put them in the drop zone.
Foreshaw will play, Pennington will play LVB will play, Beradi & Pontus will play. Lassoga plays, Felix plays, Pablo plays so only 3 berths left. Betting on Alioski, Roofe & Viera. 3-0 Leeds
We were much better than we have been vs Forest and I'd like to see that continue obvs, but I don't think we have the right type of players for a game like this. They need fight in them and that's sadly lacking.
Afternoon Kempton, Deffo, the Championship is all about fight. What did you think our the badge, Leeds bought out?
None, but it made the Leeds fans very cross, and they asked our nice owners to abandon it, and the they said because we asked so nicely. please log in to view this image
Afternoon ell think the main ingredient has already been mentioned by kempton. Who's got the fight in them to win it ? Think Adkins will have them well up for it while I think we'll still be on the beach in Murcia. I honestly can't see where a win is coming from if we don't get a striker in before Wednesday.
Afternoon Nick. It seems amazing that with all the god work the club has done over the last 12 months, that they won't open loosen the purse strings a little more to bring in a half decent forward.
Kinell mate, we haven't signed anyone this window. The only transfer rumour we've heard are about outgoing players, especially Bowen. Edit: Oh I forgot, we are linked with... Carlton Cole and I'm not even ****ting ya
Off topic, but amused me. Who says we can't laugh at ourselves. Perhaps you have to be Glaswegian to get it ...
Don't think Hulls owner is anything like Bates,he made them a prem team,he's now just left them to find there own level, rather than give them millions.
