I don’t think it’s unjust to say he’s better given our form with Baxter vs without last season. Although suggesting Ingram should be dropped at the minute is utterly ridiculous. I think Baxter is marginally better but not much in it and am happy regardless unlike some on here who blame Ingram for every goal we concede

There really isn't anything in it, neither is better then the other, Baxter seems to be one of these players who gets better the longer he doesn't play ( he is a v.good keeper don't get me wrong )

Great first 3 lines. 4th, not so much ;)
4th line:
"Scoring more than with a whore in the backstreets of Medellin"
Might not be family friendly though, now that I think of it....."backstreets" connotates discord, poverty and deprivation, anathema in the eyes of a world heralding egalitarian principles as the benchmark that our cherished children should aspire to.

Ingram has made an excellent start and it would be very harsh to drop him. But Baxter has proved he's the better goalkeeper for two consecutive seasons now.

He has achieved the best save percentage among his divisions goalkeepers for the last 2 years. Last year Baxter 80%, Ingram 71% in the league one campaign Baxter 78% Ingram 70%.
Going off sofascore rating that analyses all aspects of a goalkeepers game he's also had 2 better seasons. Last year Baxter 7.35 rating, Ingram 6.93. In the league one season Baxter 7.38, Ingram 6.84.
Then theres our team performances with both in the side. With Baxter in goal we averaged 1.7ppg last season, conceding on average 1.06 goals a game. With Ingram we averaged 0.77ppg conceding 1.32 goals. Quite a stark difference with not much else changing.

Baxter is performing like this at 23, he's only going to get better. If we let him slip away it would be scandalous. In fact the only doubt I have about Baxter is his injury record.

Ingram seems happier to distribute short.
Baxter, from memory,is good at a quick long ball ,kick or throw, which might suit our forwards at the moment.

When seri returns all play will go through him .

They weren’t little kids. And he always went straight up and out of the concourse. Why do you think these problems are unique to some of our fans? They don’t seem as common elsewhere.

I don't leave early personally. What I don't get is what the **** has it got to do with anyone else?

Sorry yes when I lived in Cambridge and we where getting well beaten I'd bugger off with a couple of minutes to go because that could save me half an hour getting out the car park. With a 3 hour plus drive in front of me it was worth it.

Am I forgiven?

Current team have earnt the right to keep their places. What it will do is strengthen options from the bench. Returning players only get back in if standards of the current starters drop.

I’d keep Cannon. He did a good job yesterday for the team. I don’t think he’s ever had a bad game when called upon.

Baxter's fingers are as crumbly as digestive biscuits.

When I was working a 10x6 shift and we had a night game I'd leave at 9.15, jog/brisk walk through the park, down Selby St, over the bridge and into the car to drive to Scunny Steel Works to let my mate off for 22.00 - I do love retirement!

Is the bird of prey still in the ground or did the Allams take it with them?I was telling my grandson about it on Saturday.I think he thought I was joking.

It was his first game and he came up with too many questions for a 6 year old.
Why is the grass two colours.?
Why does the goalkeeper need a towel.
Why does the goalkeeper spit on his gloves?

On the way out of the ground he told me it was the same score in yellow cards as well.

Hate to think what the questions will be in future matches.

Why does everyone hate Leeds?

Besides the obvious early seventies reasons on going , they’ve since become arrogant like Man Utd fans especially the ones from here, and I and a brother have both had work experiences from them of arrogance in Leeds. And to be told we are not in Yorkshire adds to the flames. And then there’s the scousers , and Arsenal fans and…… calm down
