Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has confirmed he will be without Tammy Abraham for Saturday's FA Cup fourth-round tie at Hull.

The England forward limped off with an ankle injury in Tuesday's 2-2 Premier League drawwith Arsenal.

"The good news is he hasn't fractured anything, but we still have to see how he develops," said Lampard.

"He's not fit for the weekend, but whether he'll be fit for Leicester I'm still not sure."

American forward Christian Pulisic and Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga will also be missing for the Blues against their Championship opponents, with Lampard opting to hand Willy Caballero a rare start.

The 38-year-old Argentine is set to start his fourth game of the campaign, with all four coming in the domestic cup competitions.

"Willy will start tomorrow," Lampard added.

"I've found him nothing but professional and very talented in training day-in, day-out and whenever he gets his opportunities to play.

"We respect the FA Cup. I do, the players do and this club has been fortunate enough to win it a fair few times in the modern era so we want to win it again.

"People will argue whether top four is more important than the FA Cup but I don't think we need to get into that one. We're professionals so we want to win the game and get through to the next round."

    MATCH FACTS
    • Hull have won none of their 10 FA Cup games against Chelsea (D3 L7), losing most recently in the fifth round in February 2018, a 4-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge.
    • In all competitions, Chelsea are unbeaten in 15 games against Hull, winning 13 and drawing two since a 3-0 defeat in October 1988.
    • When playing outside the top-flight, Hull have been eliminated in their last 13 FA Cup ties against top-flight opponents since winning 1-0 against West Ham United in February 1973 as a second tier outfit.
    • Chelsea have progressed from 49 of their last 51 FA Cup ties against non-Premier League sides, and haven't lost away from home since March 2008, losing 1-0 to Barnsley.
    • Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has been directly involved in four goals in his three FA Cup starts (2 goals, 2 assists), with all three starts coming against Championship opponents.
we’ve not got a good record against these have we!! Kamil sticks that early chance away which he always seems to get and we’re in the game aren’t we. 1-0 city come on boys

HULL CITY RETURN TO ACTION AT THE KCOM STADIUM ON SATURDAY AS PREMIER LEAGUE CHELSEA PROVIDE THE OPPOSITION IN HU3 AS THE TWO TEAMS COMPETE FOR A SPOT IN THE FIFTH ROUND OF THE EMIRATES FA CUP.
All fans attending the game should note that Walton Street remains closed at its junction with Longden Street and this should be factored into your journey time to the stadium. The Walton Street car park remains open and is accessible from Spring Bank West but, with a sell-out crowd due, please allow extra time for your journey to the stadium with traffic congestion likely in the local area.

The main action gets underway at 5.30pm as the Tigers take on Frank Lampard’s side but there is also plenty to look forward to ahead of kick-off, with all sorts going on in and around the ground.

Here’s what we’ve got lined up:

    9am – Tiger Leisure Opens
Pop in to our stadium store to pick up any Hull City merchandise.

    10am – Ticket Zone Opens
The Ticket Zone, located in the East Stand, will be open for any general ticket enquiries. However, with the tie being a complete sell-out, please note there will be no tickets available to purchase on the day of the game.

3pm – The Dugout Bar Opens
Exclusively available to our Members, The Dugout Bar opens its doors at 3pm. Just show your Membership Card at the door to gain entry.

Alternatively, take a stroll around to the West Stand to see the new public art installation created by local artist Andy Pea, pupils from Thoresby Primary School and featuring contributions from fans, players and staff if you haven’t seen it yet.

    3.30pm – Turnstiles & Pitchside Bar Open
Head into the stadium where you’ll find our concourse outlets open to serve hot and cold food and drink.

And look out for our FREE fresh fruit available to home supporters, with stations in the South, South East, South West and West and Upper West Stand concourses.

The Pitchside Bar – located on the outside of the North Stand – will also open its doors at this time.

    3.30pm – Concourse Entertainment
We’ve got plenty happening on the concourses ahead of kick-off with face painters, balloon artists and freestyle footballers all roaming around the West, South and East Stands, along with the outer bowl of the stadium.

And make sure you head to the Family South Stand concourse for extra entertainment and activities. We’ll have Foot Snooker and Table Football on offer in the South West, and you’ll be able to put your FIFA 20 skills to the test courtesy of GAME Hull, who will be set-up on the South East concourse. We’ll also have another Table Football on offer to supporters in the Upper West.

4pm – Bucket Collection To Support Mose Masoe
There will be bucket collections to support Hull Kingston Rovers player Mose Masoe, after the 30-year-old Samoan suffered a serious spinal injury during his side’s pre-season friendly at Wakefield earlier this month. Please dig deep and donate whatever you can afford in order to help support Mose and his family in the journey they face together. The whole city stands with you, Mose!

    4.10pm – Hull City Sesh
Once described as like a cross between The Beautiful South and The Smiths, Sandra’s Wedding – a four piece band from Goole made up of singer/songwriter Joe Hodgson, guitarist Jonny Hughes, bass player Tom Hill and Luke Harrison on drums – will take to the Hull City Sesh stage on the East Stand concourse to play a live set.

    4.50pm – Pre-Match Warm-Up
Players from both teams will take to the field for their pre-match warm-up ahead of the game.

    5.20pm – Flag Bearers
Twelve youngsters from Costello Rattle Snakes will be waving the Hull City flags pitchside as the players walk onto the KCOM pitch.

    5.30pm – Kick-Off!

    Half Time
Cheer on our youngsters from Costello Rattle Snakes as they take part in our relay challenge (weather-permitting of course!).

    Full Time
Tiger Leisure will remain open for 30 minutes after the full-time whistle, while The Dugout Bar is open to Members post-match.

Really looking forward to this one, I feel we will either play really well and snatch a win by the odd goal or play poorly and lose by 4.

No doubt Samuelsen & Wilks will get a run-out, it will be interesting to see how they fare.

I wonder whether Bowen will start? There seems to be a shift in rhetoric over the last few days, which leads me to think he may well go this week!

I just hope with a full house we go out and perform, sometimes games like this when your playing a top side they can go out score a quick couple of goals and totally quiet the crowd, if we can keep in it for a hour then anything can happen and it's obviously a lot more exciting. We are going to have to lift our game from the previous two home games, create more and not give the ball away so easy. I will make an effort to get there earlier because can imagine there will be long queues at the turnstiles with a few newbies attending. Anyway if your going, back the lads, hopefully Come on you Hull will be ringing around that stadium five minutes before they come out and most of all Enjoy
