Well Masky for all his magic and wherewithal, is at a loss to get excited about this one pals...can’t whip up a giant stiffy TBH! Masky has no mates in Hull to get some inside information, no ex-lovers...no one who wants to dish the dirt on unsavoury characters...like our Aber! Let’s jusr say, a comfortable 2-0 win, and then get the fug out at the first instance...don’t even stop for a pint and a finger of fudge! Hull City are still missing full-back Callum Elder and midfielder Jon Toral for the visit of Cardiff City. New striker Norbert Balogh could make his debut after playing in a behind-closed-doors game this week, while George Honeyman could be recalled. Dean Windass could start! Bluebirds boss Neil Warnock will hope to have Robert Glatzel available after the striker missed last week's win over Middlesbrough. But Isaac Vassell has been ruled out for two months with a torn quadricep. Match facts Hull lost both of their most recent league meetings with Cardiff in 2017-18 under Nigel Adkins without scoring a goal. Cardiff are looking to win back-to-back away league matches against Hull for the first time since October 1998. Hull haven't kept a clean sheet in any of their past nine home league games (W3 D3 L3) since a 2-0 win against Birmingham in March. Cardiff are winless in their four away league games this season (D2 L2), with their last victory coming on the road coming at Old Trafford in May (2-0). Hull's Kamil Grosicki has scored in his past three Championship appearances - he is the only player to register 10+ goals and 10+ assists in the division in 2019 (10 goal, 10 assists). Cardiff are looking to secure back-to-back league victories for the first time since February.
According to WoL Bamba and Pack well down the road to returning although next week is more likely. I think Pack could be on the bench. Apart from Vassell no new injury worries. Need to keep tight reins on Grosicki and Bowen.
See Warnock's interview yesterday. Tomlin still not fully fit after car accident. Sorry, got that wrong. He is fit, just not selected.
Total joke. For once playing in opposition half away from home and making all the running and should be well ahead and then gift them a goal. Etheridge will be back next week.
Does living in cheshire count as being an ex-pat taff? I've been here 20 odd years. You don't know the half of what I've had to put up with.
3 wins, 4 draws in the last five games...not promotion form, but two away losses....hmmmm! Slow start, need more goals!
Both teams were poor. City can’t defend two free kicks. This zonal defending is rubbish. Our two big defenders floating rather than man marking. Hull gifted a 2nd equaliser albeit our opener was a good goal with our only decent cross all game. What disappointed me was the inability of City to kick on at 1-1. The lack of skill is so apparent. What’s happened to NML and Murphy whom should have run rings around Hulls full backs. No creativity save our opener. Why wasn’t the only player in our squad with a creative bone in his body (Tomlin) not involved? This was the type of game he’d have bossed. Mid table mediocrity for both today’s teams.
