    Thought it was worth having a separate thread again. Hugh Parker (ST) and Cathal McCarthy are the two lads that we bought from Irish clubs last season.


    The following players are under contract for the 2025/26 season:

    Pharrell Brown, Rocco Coyle, Cathal McCarthy, Hugh Parker,Tyrell Sellars-Fleming and Nathan Tinsdale.


    The following players have been offered new contracts:

    Zane Myers, Noah Wadsworth and Callum Yam.

    The following players have been released following the expiration of their contracts:

    Shea Callister, Jaedyn Chibanga, Kyle Fanning, Owen Foster, Cameron Gray, Sincere Hall, Brandon Harriman-Annous,Paul Iggulden, Jake Leake, Jack Leckie, Jevon Mills,Alfie Taylor and George Wilson.


    Under-18s

    The following second-year scholars will be moving up to the Under-21s after signing professional contracts:

    Stan Ashbee*, Ed Devine, Archie Howard, Harry Revill and Aidon Shehu.

    (*Ashbee signed a three-year professional contract in December 2023)

    The following second-year scholars have been released from the club following the end of their scholarship:

    Joe Batty, Lucas Dawson*, Aidan Durkan and Alfie Perry.

    (*Dawson declined the offer of a professional contract to pursue an opportunity in America)

    Second-year scholar Stan Hewitt has seen his scholarship extended to his 19th birthday on 2 November 2025 due to injury.

    The following first-year scholars will be moving into their second year:

    Ramell Carter, Cayden Cole, Oskar Gruszkowski, Jake Hopper, Zac Jagielka, Charlie Leach, Rory Leech, Alfie Maskell, Josh Ocaya, Calvin Okike, Reuben Silk and Jack Topley.

    Going to go watch the u21s against Newcastle in a week or so. Will likely be a fair few trialists but will be worth the watch.

    The one to watch for me this year is Bobby Moore who’s just joined the u18s as a scholar. He simply has to make it with that name but he is also light years ahead of everyone else at this stage

    is this season with boston, coyles highest level hes played at?

    is he still meant to be highly rated

    He’s only 18 still but yes it will be and he is very highly rated yes. He will probably make it at City too he has the ability and mentality to do so.

    Owen Foster snapped up by Middlesbrough...Those smoggies know a decent keeper...If CITY didn't already have enough goalies to sink a battleship he'd have stayed.
