Imagine we needed an additional name to fulfil the rules of league participation.

What would you be happy with? Try to explain why you would choose a certain name.

It can't be the Robins, though.

Don't worry - I'm sure the trust will be starting a petition with 24 signatures to ensure we never change our name <ok>

RBG Charlton - plays off the whole continental style for team names, with RBG standing for royal borough of Greenwich. Make us sound at least important l.

With the reported collapse of a take over.....I am guessing 'The Greenwich Wanderers' is now off the table.....

Looking at one or two of our senior players the "Athletic" part of our name is rather ironic.

All good answers, but not quite what I was looking for. I do like the Royal Greenwich bit, though.

Charlton Cheapskates is quite apt, eh?

When the FA decides to make a T20 style 5-A-Side scheme in Nairobi I would like us to be 'The Charlton Heston'

This would eventually see the dagger badge replaced by a gun badge as we become sponsored by the NRA
