Hi there, foxes fan here. i got into your fine educational establishment this week and was wondering if i could ask for a few opinions and tips for living in Hull? you know general stuff such as where and what to avoid and the all important fact of how much a pint of beer costs also what's the nightlife like in Hull and is the KC stadium reachable using public transport from the University? thanks in advance for your help and look forward to visiting your stadium Dec 3rd!!!
If you get the bus (115 I think) from the Uni to Princess Ave you wont go wrong on match day. Plenty of pubs and 10 minute walk to stadium, just follow the fans, they're quite a friendly bunch
Are you going to be living in Halls, in Cottingham? If so, it'll be an 'East Yorkshire' bus from The Lawns or Cott. Square to Hull Interchange (bus and rail stations). Easy walk from there. If you're in a flat or shared house, it might be anywhere, but Newland Avenue/Princes Avenue/The Avenues/Spring Bank/Beverley Road - all Uni area - are not far from the KC.
Get yourself in Haworth arms on a thursday night, pound a pint. Im sure you will love the night life, plenty of different places to go on what scene you like.
thanks for all the help guys. i'll hopefully be living in Cottingham. Tigerned rarely, i tend to frequent the Grainstore or go further afield for a night out. i'll bare the tips in mind. so excited to be getting out of Rutland!!!
