No new injuries, but Abel is still ten days to two weeks away (again). Mick is yet to have a meeting with Ehab re transfers and has no idea if he has anything to spend. He's confirmed he wants Carl Jenkinson and has asked Arsenal about loan availability.
Massive task luring any player to a club that's bottom of the league. Combine that with a reluctance to shell out and we can all guess the outcome.
If you were mick would you be demanding a meeting? Is mick sat scratching his arse in his office while ehabs sat scratching his arse in his? Lack of communication the mother of all **** ups , alongside assuming
Huddlestone did the pressers with Mick, he basically just said 3-5-2 suited the players and that performances had improved, but we obviously need those improved performances into improved results.
Probably scratching each others arses It just doesnt make sense We know ehabs inept doesnt give a toss or just isnt competant and doesnt have a clue, what i dont get is why phelans allowing this to roll on, he's identified players fair does , but surely before you do that you find out what your budget is so you can plan properly and you dont just sit and wait for the owner to tell you when he decides he wants too I think phelans weak
MP probably crosses his fingers each day hoping not to get sacked and Ehab has no idea how to be a chairman of a multi million pound football club. It's equal measures of laughable, shocking and depressing.
We have the players to stay up comfortably. I bet EA is wondering if he can trust MP with money, cos, let's face it, SB was like a chocolate teapot when it came to getting the best out of the players... The perseverance with Mason when even Ehab can see that he's ****, and pulling off Thud, who was our best player by a country mile suggests that he is just as inept. I bet EA is despairing about what to do! Does he stick with Phelan in the hopes of turning it around, or does he bring someone else in? Then that begs the question, who?
I thought the whole delay in appointing Phelan was he was negotiating a contract to give him a decent pay off when he was inevitably sacked , he probably hasn't planned for January because he is more surprised than anyone he is still here ...
That's just daft. If Phelan was a proven manager like Bruce is he wouldn't have taken the job. He's here simply to get a managerial job on his CV. You could say he's desperate. He can't do anything about Ehab being a twat. It's either walk like Bruce or suck it up because you desperately wanted a managerial job.
It was as obvious this season as it was last season. I have no idea what Bruce and Phelan see on the training ground or pitch.
