A mixed Under-18s/Under-21s side will face Dunnington FC in the East Riding County Senior Cup this evening. The second round tie, which is being played at Bishop Burton College, will kick-off at 7pm. The Tigers have entered the competition at this stage after receiving a bye in the first round, whilst Dunnington secured their place in the second round with a 5-0 win against Reckitts AFC (Firsts) last month. Speaking ahead of tonight’s game, Academy Manager Tony Pennock said: “Our side this evening will be a mixture of players from the Under-18 and Under-21 age groups. “For the majority of the lads from the Under-18s, it will be the first time that they have had the chance to step up and play with the Under-21s this season. “It’s a big opportunity for them to show what they can do against what will no doubt be older and more physical opposition than what they have been used to playing at Under-18 level this season. “It’s a challenge they’re all relishing though, and as with any competition we enter, we go with the aim of looking to win the tie and progressing to the next round. “With free admission for all fans at tonight’s game, it would be fantastic if supporters could come down to Bishop Burton and get behind the lads. “Any support given would be greatly appreciated by myself, along with all Academy staff and players.”
Yeah that's what I thought, hopefully I'll get down there anyway. Will they be doing those Pulled Pork Pies? If not why not...the bastards.

City in the hat for the next round then. Hull United play in the same competition at Cottingham on Saturday. City and United met in the semi last year.
curtis woodhouse @woodhousecurtis Said to @AshbeeIan during last night game, "U need to relax a bit more on the sideline" he said "you just threatened to chin there CB ffs".
Lol I can see some opposition player/group of players/officials being in deep **** one of these days if they both kick off together at the same time.
Hull City U18's Win Coventry City U18's were beaten 3-2 in their first ever Academy League game against Hull City. Dan Smith scored twice for Coventry with Hinchcliffe, Barkworth and McKenzie scoring for Hull.
United also into the quarters. Not sure who else got through or when the draw is. Hope City and United can avoid each other til the final.
