Hull has slowest broadband speed in UK - uSwitch report http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...tory-29192172-detail/story.html#ixzz476eBJKfQ
I remember when I was there with my unlimited data on my phone I just tethered it. Not sure if that's different to broadband but that worked well for me.
It's a really **** report isn't it? The KCOM response states why. I know I keep dismissing these reports but that's because people keep coming up with **** ones. I did my dissertation on this exact subject so it's one of very few subjects where I know what I'm on about.
I do a lot of file uploading at work, we got the KC Lightstream last year and it's extremely fast. My standard KC broadband at home is marginally faster than dial up.
This is what I am getting at the moment, but it is a real variable. Often dropping to 25Mbs. The best I have seen is 109Mbs.
This doesn't surprise me, whenever we have visitors from outside the area they always comment about slow internet speeds.
yeah, we had that the other day, including the kcom rebuttal in the hdm. i know the thread title offered no clue. http://www.not606.com/threads/confirming-what-most-knew-already.328080/#post-9185513
