Kasper Schmeichel - 6 - Had to make a few decent saves at the end but other than that he was just a spectator.

Lee Peltier - 7 - Dealt with the pace and trickery of Stewart with ease. Never looked like getting beat. Huge improvement.

Wes Morgan - 8 - Won everything in the air and on the deck. Solid as a rock.

Shaun St Ledger - 6 - Shocking opening 15 minutes. Got better but never looked settled.

Paul Koncheskey - 7 - Josh King gave him plenty of problems but when he was subbed he became his usual brilliant self.

Lloyd Dyer - 8 - Gave Dawson a nightmare with his pace and he had a brilliant goal to go with it.

Danny Drinkwater - 7 - Back to his calm self on the ball, should have scored at the end but i'll let him off.

Neil Danns - 7- Gave the ball away for their goal and was (wrongly) sent off. Worked exceptionally hard though.

David Nugent - 6 - Out of position but he still worked his socks off. Helped cover Stewart very well.

Ben Marshall - 9 - Stunning display from the young lad. Deserved his goal and more. He's a Paul Gallagher with a tackle in him and he can win headers. Superb game.

Jermaine Beckford - 8 - Continues to prove the doubters wrong. Held the line very well and worked his arse off. Deserved a goal, really.

Sol Bamba - 7 - Should be playing there on Tuesday if Danns' appeal is rejected.

Tom Kennedy - 6 - Couple of good clearances and a generally calm performance when it was needed.

Nigel Pearson - 10 - Tactics were spot on and the players worked for him. He's the guy to take us up next season. Have faith in him.

Just by reading what you´ve wrote sounds like he couldn´t of played much better. I´d give him 9.

Marks down for his distribution. Would have been a 9.

I thing i found hilarious was Hulls pathetic appeals for handballs. Stewart was 2 yards away from Morgan and smashed the ball at him it hit his foot and rolled up his body and hit his arm and that was on the halfway line and he was crying for handball. Stewart and King kept using their hands to control the ball and the blind linemans couldnt see it

..and that to me is the key player in our club, he will get it right, if not this season next, but he is a man players will play for, and one we can't allow to leave again.... 10 / 10 <ok>

Cracking game! Spot on with the ratings. And i am chuffed about the recognition that NP got. Certainly has "briefly" silenced that numpties that were calling for his head last week.

NP is one of the best managers in recent LCFC history - give him time and free reign = success!
