Just seen this article about a move for Hulk. Whether or not there's any truth in it, I have no idea. Seems rather unlikely. No quotes or anything, no second sources, tends to suggests it's entirely false.

But I just thought it begged the question...would we really want to spend £25m on ONE player?

Same. I would be absolutely ecstatic if we got him. Maybe stretch to 18m. Elmander on a free. A couple of other frees and bargain Tiote-like buys. Could be a good summer.

Hopeful though =/

Yeah I agree 25m is definitely too much. There's plenty of cheaper options.

I wasn't saying we SHOULD spend 25m on one player, quite the opposite actually, but was just wondering what other people's thoughts were.

He's having a great season though and looks quite a handful on YOUTUBE..

There goes my credibility.

haha.
Nothing wrong with youtube videos.
Someone posted one a couple of days ago. He has excellent pace, is very strong, and a decent crosser. Amazed.

It'll take a lot of money for them to sell though, they'll demand something crazy like 30m or something :/

Not to mention wages.
Or the fact that if he's keen to come to the Prem, then another team will no doubt beat us to it =/

I agree it would be a great signing but I still don't trust Cashley to put all the money back into transfers, his word in worth nowt to me personally. Realistically with 35 mill we should be able to sign 3 quality players but if we spend 25+ on just one then i don't see the point.
