    ...is still very much "work in progress" judging from this!

    This was taken as the teams came out for the second half on Saturday, and to say Holt and Snodgrass haven't clicked yet is a bit of an understatement - which, with 45 minutes to go at that stage before the season starts and points are up for grabs, worried me.

    More of concern was seeing Vaughan as an unused sub and Jackson getting a token 10 minutes, especially as the pictured formation also failed to score against Hull.
    I'm clearly going too deeply into it all <doh>

    Although, to be fair, I hadn't noticed them holding hands until after I posted that!

    Jesus Dave,

    They look like a married couple! It should be a caption comptetion.

    They look pretty "close" to me.

    Maybe they are arguing over who's turn it is to do the ironing or hang a picture.

    I'm not happy at all with our front line and I've gone from being quietly confident about the new season to fearing the worst with what I've seen so far. Considering that CH is supposedly concentrating on shoring things up at the back, he hasn't had much joy there either. Saturday prediction from me is a 3-0 defeat I haven't been as pessimistic as this going into a game for ages, it's going to be a long hard season if you ask me. I really hope I'm wrong but I also think that QPR will gain revenge in the second game too ! <doh>

    All this negativity - and a ball hasn't been kicked in anger yet! FFS these are pre-season friendlies and practice matches to try different things out, lessons will have been learnt and points for attention on the training ground will have been gained. I think you learn a hell of a lot more from losing matches like these than from winning 7 - 0 at Kings Lynn or Dundee. Give CH some credit for knowing his job and being able to work out the best options come the important stuff which begins on Saturday. Please save your negativity until we are at least 4 weeks into the season and have had the chance to judge where we are at.

    You are probably right GPB but having been a Norwich fan for as long as I have (as long as you have judging by your user name), I can't help being pessimistic at times <laugh>

    <sorry>

    I know that if you start off pessimistic then the only way is up, but actually, I really can't see our "goal drought" continuing and we will be harder to beat than last year so I'm quietly confident.... ooerr! thats done it!:emoticon-0101-sadsm
