Looks like Hughton may go to Norwich leaving the way for Bruce to go back to Birmingham putting a wrench in the Allams plans?
Why does everyone assume Bruce want's to go back to his old clubs? I'm not saying he doesn't but he's never done it before, why are people assuming he'd jump at the chance to manage a club he's already left once?
No shock if that comes to pass. Chris Hughton should keep Norwich a mid-table PL club. I wonder how many players CH would go back to Birmingham for as they do need the money.? Curtis Davies looks nailed on to leave Birmingham for Norwich IF CH does get the job.
And he jumped out of there pretty sharpish too. If he gets the job, I think it may be no more than a stop gap for us and him. Then again he might be the perfect fit and take us to higher highs. Time will tell.
nothing against hughton, but ill be putting as much as i can get hold of on Norwich going down next season, punched well above there weight because of Lambert...
This stance and type of statement really annoys the piss out of me. Its like my mother when someone she knows is pregnant..."it will be a boy....or a girl" Talk about covering your bases so you can talk **** depending on which of your 2 prophecies comes to pass.
Just for you What I think - If he gets the job, I think it may be no more than a stop gap for us and him. Let me assure you here and now, I'm not the sort to come back and say I told you so. I really don't care that much.
Birminghams owner is not allowed back in the country and all assets frozen correct ? what an attractive jab that must be
This story from the Birmingham Mail doesn't mention anything about Carson Yeung not being allowed into the UK but the Blues' assets are currently frozen: http://www.birminghammail.net/news/...e-evicted-from-hong-kong-home-97319-31110982/ Also from the story: "Mr Steven McManaman has resigned as an executive director with effect from 2 June 2012." "Oo, er..."
Think that's a good appointment for Norwich. Hughton did well with Newcastle and Hughton may have the desire to prove a point to his former employers after being sacked the way he was.
If its a stop gap and another team approach him whilst under contract with us then we a) get compensation and b) it must mean he's doing well 4 us
I hardly think that's the case with FLG here. He stated what he thinks will happen, then accepted that he may be wrong.
Save your money. Apart from possibly Grant Holt leaving I think that Hughton will do a good job for Norwich City and apart from Curtis Davies, Hughton may well raid Birmingham for players. CH did well at Newcastle and there is no reason to think he wont do the same job for Norwich City. Its the perfect job for one Phil Brown. Come on down the time is right. Can Carson Yeung leave his own country ? Agreed. Win Win for all parties then.
