But not yet face to face! Seems like he wants him to stay! http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/7838859/?
For those of you who rate Rick Waghorn, he has this to say! http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter...-at-carrow-road-theres-new-numbers-to-stack/?
This is good news, think Holt will really appreciate the effort CH is making. Feel very optimistic about the future of our club. Don't think I've ever been this chuffed with a managerial appointment. CH seems level headed, experiened, and a calming influence after the roller coaster 3 seasons we've just had. NOTE: If any Binners wish to bookmark this comment, it would make an excellent "signature" if we were to be relegated.
http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter...d-at-carrow-road-theres-new-numbers-to-stack/ Do you believe we will push the boat out a little further than initially intended with the new figures that have been announced were we to stay up again? That would be just a ridiculous windfall for our club were we to stay up!!!
http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/151531-Serious-Strategic-Game-Changer Don't know whether anyone saw this thread I posted a few weeks ago, these "new numbers" are as discussed: If Norwich survive next season, the club will receive: 1) £28.7m more TV revenues than now (for the 20th club, survivors will receive MORE!) 2) £0.53m more Performance Bonus per higher place (12th for example, £4.25m more than now) 3) £12m (as no external debt is being struck off...straight to the transfer kitty) 4) £0 in Bank Interest Payments each year Equating to a huge influx of £42.3m if we finish 17th, which we would have on addition what we already receive
I don't think we can count the £12m as incremental to staying up or not golden eye, as we will repay the debt if we go down. So we will save that too if in the championship for 2013/2014
True, but it is still £12m more for the transfer chest than we will have at our disposal this summer, or the one before...since we have been paying off our debts in quite considerable chunks these last 2 seasons. The key advantage should we be relegated is that we can spend our parachute payments without incurring any financial penalties, whereas all of the championship sides will incur HUGE penalties.
brings us back to the same old arguement of whether or not to push the boat out hard to ensure we stay up or continue to be prudent in case we go down and miss out on the bigger windfall. It's a lot of cash heading into the PL in 2013/4. Perhaps set to shift the gulf between Prem League and Championship capability (financially) still further.
In the mean time, Ipshit are still making money from car boot sales, Ebay and selling used clothes from the charity bin. Oh the joys of being comfortable again...another cocktail gents?
