Of all the crap performances that were on show today, I find it a tad strange that it's Hughes's that you feel was the one worth mentioning. I didn't notice him being overly poor.............unlike Kranjcar, who was beyond terrible.
Well, as far as I know, Hughes has spent his entire career playing in the Premier League, until now. That probably tells you that he's at least a decent defender, although I also believe that he's a better CB and not a RB.
He is a CB not a RB. Panic signing and not a good one as cover for Simpson. Injuries are seriously haunting us.
