that would explain this.
..Chelsea captain John Terry has revealed he would welcome the appointment of Mark Hughes or Guus Hiddink as Blues boss.
The Blues are looking for a successor to Carlo Ancelotti and Hughes, who resigned as Fulham boss on Thursday, and Turkey coach Hiddink have been linked with the role.
Hiddink enjoyed a successful spell in caretaker charge of Chelsea two years ago, winning the FA Cup, while Hughes enjoyed three years as a player at Stamford Bridge.
Terry, who admitted he was sad to see Ancelotti go, believes Hughes has the right qualities to take charge at Chelsea.
"There's a lot of speculation out there at the moment," Terry told Sky Sports News.
"I was very sad to see Carlo go, and as a group of players we will wait for the club to make a decision. There's a lot of managers been linked at the moment.
On Hughes, Terry added: "He's someone that hopefully the club will be talking to.
"I know Mark and his backtoom staff and they have an understanding of the club and knowing how much the club means to the supporters will come naturally to them.
"So if he's linked in he will be welcomed in by the players for sure
