We had more of the ball after that .... but were still sh!te. Poor defending, poor passing and poor finishing have nothing to do with "things conspiring against us". Hughes is acting just like the defence who when beaten just stick their hand up and claim offside and seem aggrieved when the linesman doesn't give it. Poor Mark. Things are conspiring against you and your team. I thought that Warnock came across as a t0sser in some of his post match interviews, but Hughes is obviously as deluded as NW was .... and he had an open chequebook to spend in January. He will use this excuse to the end of the season ... and so will the players, all of them making (not earning) more in a couple of weeks than most of us make in a year.
Of coarse hes going to say that when he see,s two of his new signings sent off after one game each.He is not to blame for our current position and I for one dont care who TF bought in,we would still be in the s**t.The players arent good enough and they look like they dont give a toss.Hardly MH,s fault.
I honestly have no idea how he can complain about the red card today! The referee gave the guy multiple chances with previous missed tackles!
At least MH is being honest! Well, not quite. He can't quite blame anybody so he says the most generic things possible. It's not the Refs, it's not the players, and he honestly believes he can still manage. MH doesn't understand how to defend. He has no idea how to coach the defense. I've said it ever since he became manager, and he's proved it yet again.
I must admit I was surprised at his appointment.He has achieved very little as a manager.TBH although Warnock was a gob on a stick I think he had the credentials to get you out of it.My main doubt over him was signing Barton but I suppose everyone is allowed one mistake.Spending millions on big names isn't very effective and most of your signings seem to have been better at winning red cards than points.Very sad.
